Executive Members

Executive Membership

For Leaders Who Shape British Enterprise

Executive Membership is the national benchmark for principled leadership — a credential for senior decision‑makers who uphold merit, responsibility, and professional dignity at the highest level. It is the Association’s premier individual tier, designed for corporate directors, managing partners, and senior leaders who want principled peer alignment, national‑level visibility, and a recognised professional standard within British enterprise.

Executive Members are regarded as pillars of the national body: individuals who carry personal responsibility for their enterprises and champion the return of merit, professional dignity, and heritage values to British commerce.

Executive Member Benefits

1. Institutional Credentials & Professional Toolkits

Executive Membership provides recognised credentials and practical resources to strengthen your leadership position:

  • Executive Certification — Executive Member Crest and framed commission certificate for corporate office display or digital profile branding.

  • The Growth Playbook — Access to the BBA Merit Recruitment Playbook and the Merit‑Based Leadership Standards, including verified assessment templates

  • The Essentials Toolkit — Merit Recruitment Guidelines, hiring checklists, and “Fair Pay” digital branding assets

2. Year 2 Ecosystem Deployment

As an inaugural‑year Executive Member, your position is secured for the Association’s upcoming national infrastructure:

  • Executive Registry Profile — A credentialed executive and company listing within the National Register (Year 2)

  • National Executive Assemblies — Delegation access to the Annual National Summit and invitations to Executive Roundtable Dinners on economic policy and enterprise growth

  • Advisory Committee Eligibility — Priority eligibility for appointment to cross‑sector advisory panels and regional leadership committees

Executive Member Responsibilities

Executive Members uphold the Association’s professional standards and contribute to a principled national business environment:

  • Uphold integrity and meritocracy in leadership and decision‑making

  • Act as a professional ambassador for the national mission within their sector

  • Maintain high standards of conduct and governance within their enterprise

Eligibility Criteria

To maintain a high‑trust, peer‑level environment, applicants must meet at least one of the following:

  • Corporate Leadership — Business owner, corporate director, managing partner, or C‑suite executive

  • Professional Standing — Accredited professional designation, chartered status, or verified senior leadership role

  • Mission Alignment — Commitment to professional excellence and adherence to the Executive Member Code of Conduct

Annual Contribution

£750 / year

(Dated for 18 months under the National Formation Variance)

This contribution supports the development of executive toolkits, cross‑sector policy drafting, and the engineering of the Year 2 National Register and symposia infrastructure.

National Formation Variance

Because the Association is currently executing its National Formation Phase, all memberships ratified during the inaugural year are structurally dated for 18 months rather than the standard 12. This ensures Members are fully carried through the Year 2 deployment of the National Register and digital portal ecosystem without interruption or additional fees.

The Appointment & Review Process

All Executive entries are processed through a formal review framework to maintain a high‑trust, values‑aligned network:

  • Submission & Vetting — Review of your professional profile against charter values and standards

  • Executive Consultation — A brief consultation with national leadership to confirm alignment and suitability

  • Ratification & Onboarding — Upon approval, credentials, crest assets, and digital packs are issued; contributions are introduced only after ratification
